Michael A. Shotto, Jr., is a founding attorney of Junker Shotto. Mike was born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania. Mike attended the Pennsylvania State University, where he received his bachelor's degree in political science. After Penn State, he moved onto law school at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where he graduated cum laude. While obtaining his Juris Doctor, Mike interned for the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, narcotics and asset/forfeiture divisions, worked towards a Master of Laws in Taxation, and obtained a certificate in International Law, studying abroad in the Australian and New Zealand legal systems.
After law school, Mike worked as a hearing officer/master in the Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas, reunifying families though dependency court for nearly three years. He clerked for the Honorable Margaret Bisignani Moyle.
After three years of practice, Mike established Shotto Law, P.C. - a general practice firm with a focus on Family Law and all related matters such as Estate Planning and Estate Administration. While in business Mike has represented clients before all Courts in the State of Pennsylvania, including the Court of Common Pleas, the Superior Court, Commonwealth Court and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
